Nope, we sure aren't. But this blog really surprised me. Of all things, I would never have guess you were a car aficionado or a racing buff !
I'm not sure if I have an passions left. Maybe when I get out of this funky mood I have been in for a few months, I will rediscover something and get interested again.

Absolutely!!! Dream on, my friend!!!

A gal pal of mine finally last year, bought the car of her dreams.... a red Mustang convertible with a black top [2014]. What a ride!!!

I've had a number of passions over the years. The one that was the best was owning horses. Great FUN!!!

My passion is PASSION.........I've always been a passionate person .....one of my biggest battles in life has been to focus on one passion at a time. I have flung myself into one passion after another, but perhaps the most enduring has been Wilderness Adventure......It has taken many different forms over the years, like Sailing, Kayaking in the rapids, rock-climbing, For a time it was Theatre and Music and, of course Art......Children, cooking, Gardening.....Gardening, Art Art Art......All those passions are still part of my life, but differently.

Today I worked on a collage/painting.....It's very large . Since I don't have a need for a place to entertain guests lately, I have extended my studio space ....Every surface is filled with my tools and collage materials......The collage is on an easel and my favourite rose-velvet Boudoir chair is situated so I can view the collage....the coffee-table is covered in collage-material, the dining table is covered in another art project .......The door and all the windows are open, Puccini is on the stereo.....Passion is ubiquitous......

Yeah, I can't relate to being passionate about cars....I have always seen cars only as a necessary evil.....I walk on the road every day and lately there is very little traffic.....today I heard a Varied Thrush singing for all she was worth.....I stopped, enthralled, and listened ......when a car came by and disturbed the song, I cursed it.....damn car!!......But I like you and think it's interesting that you have this passion .....

Cars have never been my passion. I remember years ago my G/F and I were being driven to some place in Richmond in a Jaguar convertible. We went over the Oak Street bridge at 80 miles and hour and the top was down. It was actually a two seater but the three of us were riding in that car. That was when I was a heck of a lot younger than I am now. I am not a fan of Jaguars as you sit so low down and it is like sitting on the floor. A friend of mine has one and she thinks it is the best since sliced cheese.
I guess my passion is cooking. I love to cook even if it just for one person. I like to try out new recipes and experiment with different herbs and spices.

I can relate. Since I was a young teenager, I have been into cars, especially British and European cars. In 1960, I read a Road Test of a Ferrari, and promised myself that one day I would buy one. In 1981, things were going well for me, and I convinced my wife that life would be less than perfect without a Ferrari. So we bought one way air tickets to California, and drove home in a used (formally owned) Ferrari. I drove it mostly late in the evenings when the roads were empty and on rare weekends. It was great for stress relief. I sold the car in 1989 because it became too valuable to be a driver. I hung around with a group of car people. My friend Jerry bought a real AC Cobra in 1989. He paid around $65K for it. I thought he was nuts. A few years back he sold the car for $1 million. Not as nuts as I thought. Still interested in cars, especially the lesser-known makes from the 60's and 70's. Some people never grow up.

You sure are a very adventurous lady. The mere thought of being in a speeding car gives me the shivers lol.
