Hey Caroline if you vote for Joe Biden I hear that his vice-president is going to be a woman. In Canada we have had a woman for Prime Minister. Three provinces have had female Premiers. Our present PM has a lot of women in his cabinet.

Sandy and yes Queen Elizabeth the II has been a great Queen. She has reigned since February 1952 and she turned 94 last month. She is the longest reigning monarch now. I agree with you, never underestimate the power of women.

Warren is more persuasive and forceful than Biden. She should be the VP. She is an idea person which can help the U.S at this point in time and aid the country moving forward. Forget the prosecutors----ENOUGH ALREADY!

just got a phone-call today from a friend in a quilting group I have been part of for almost 30 years. We have made many quilts and hangings over the years. We raffle them off and donate the money to help women.The friend who phoned me today is a recently retired midwife. Our first quilt was to raise money to help fund legalizing Midwifery in BC. Today there are many Midwives with their own practices and they are part of our medical system. A pregnant woman has the same midwife from the beginning of her pregnancy, the birth and home visits and office visits post-birth all included in her medical..... We made a quilt a year for 10 years until we reached our goal. We also sold posters and cards of photos of the quilts and raised funds for Women's shelters and daycares. Our new project is called "Rise Up" from the Andira Day song and will have images that inspire hope in this Pandemic.........Power of Women.

Great women each and everyone.  We had two lady presidents in Ireland. Mary Robinson in 1990 and Mary McAleese. in 1997. Two powerful ladies in their own right.

THE PRIME MINISTER OF NEW ZEALAND WAS TALKING ON TELEVISION WHEN AN EARTHQUAKE HIT AND SHE JUST STOPPED A FEW SECONDS AND THEN CONTINUED WHAT SHE WAS SAYING. WE HAVE NUMEROUS MAYORS AND GOVERNMENT MINISTERS AND I THINK WE SHOULD TELL TX THAT MOST KNOW HOW TO COOK.
