I had my first one on Wednesday. I have the next one next month. I did have a bit of soreness for a day or so but none now.

Alfie is waiting on the call when his is in. Apparently it is not available yet.

I work as a volunteer at the hospital and that is why we got ours.

Because you ARE healthy, the vaccine will probably be most effective for you. Vaccines are meant to stimulate the immune system to produce the proper response and form antibodies and immunity. As a doctor in our area explained this, it sure makes sense. He said that it is uncertain how people with poor immune systems will respond, if at all, so that is why he recommended people do all they can to build up their immune systems, at all times.... but particularly if they plan on taking the vaccine.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

I am on a waiting list so I am still in Covid Jail. I will be glad when I can get out and get back on the train. I don't think my next destination is going to DC.

Glad to hear the vaccination went smoothly. I too plan to be vaccinated when it becomes available here. Re vaccine safety, despite the development of the Covid-19 vaccine/s at such a rapid pace, speed doesn't equal sloppiness or mean doctored results as developers are following all the normal processes. That a 'healthy dose of skepticism' originates in the public’s lack of understanding towards how science works because people who have not really seen a vaccine trial or don’t understand how clinal trials work – they’re always going to have concerns that its just been too fast' according to Dr Zain Chagla, infectious diseases physician.

The schedule for British Columbians came out on Friday. My age group is scheduled for April to June. Hopefully I will be at the beginning of April. But even though we get the vaccination we still have to wear a mask and wash our hands frequently just like we are now. It just means we have a little protection from the virus but doesn't totally protect us.

Still waiting here Koffla. Distribution of the vaccine in Ireland has slowed down somewhat.

To tell you the truth I'm a wee bit apprehensive about getting the jab.

I have a fly shot every year with no problem, so I have no problem adding this one.......I just want to point out that scientists have been studying and working with Covid viruses for decades.....they already knew a lot about them when the Covid 19 came out.......Developing the vaccine, they didn't have to start from scratch.......
