In thinking about this, I went WAY back to my childhood. Riding my bicycle was one of my favorite pastimes. The wind on my face, the sun on my back, and in my mind I could go anywhere. A country road could become anything my imagination wanted it to be. Reading was also a passion. Our small town had a library and the librarian was my great aunt. Twice a year, I helped her clean and organize the books, and by the time I was an adult, I imagine I had read well over half the books. Married, with a family, we had a huge garden, but gardening was never a hobby or a passion, it was just a part of life that had to be done. Later, I became very active with bowling. When my mother passed away, the team asked me to take her place. My uncle, an avid bowler, gave me many pointers and I went on to be a pretty good bowler, doing three leagues a week and coaching junior bowlers on Saturdays. Today, I'm sad to say that I don't have any hobbies although I do spend time (too much probably) playing games on my computer and phone. I think I need to change that. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Although I had a number of hobbies in the past, I can't say that I have any now. I'm very active doing a number of things just to keep this old body going.....

In my younger days my hobbies were dancing as many nights as possible, cycling and reading. Now I enjoy gardening flower arranging, reading, and watching my favourite TV shows. I still enjoy dancing at parties and weddings.

Dancing, curating my music collection, and photography! My favorite memories are of disco dancing back in the early 80s, and ballroom dancing in the 90s. I'd take dance classes with a partner then we'd go out to various venues to practice what we learned. So much fun!
