We used to have SFF Bashes (Get togethers) in Nashville, and I wish we still had them!

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

I am happy that you did too. In the beginning, when "our" age group started joining SFF, the annual bash was held in Florida, then one started in Nashville, so there was a bash about every 6 months. I've met folks from other countries at these bashes and have always had a good time. Friendships were formed, some of them strong friendships that still exist today. Can you believe, back in the earlier years, there was sometimes a hundred folks at a bash?
As time went by, people's circumstances changed, and attendance dwindled, but Joe and I enjoyed the smaller ones as much, or more, that the larger crowds.
Wonderful memories, and I'm sad to see the younger members of SFF don't do them...... or at least I've not heard of them.
In a perfect world? We would all be strong and healthy and could go anywhere. But, there's an old saying "You can never go home again." Perhaps it's the same as bashes. They just wouldn't be the same without so many of our friends who have passed away.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Can't say I have ever given that much thought, Koffla. I think a small gathering is much more enjoyable than big bashes, for me anyway. There are people here that I know I would enjoy having a coffee and good old chat with.

Kofla I noticed that Archer wrote on a blog of mine on February 9th. She is usually on the blogs regularly. I don't recall if she was experiencing ill health or anything She lives in Europe.
