My gramma kept a journal, only back then, it was called a diary. I think she must have thrown it away at the end of the year because when she died, my sister found it, but it only went back a few months.
I have kept an appointment/journal book for several years. It was mostly a medical journal on Joe because when he had to go to the doc or hospital, it helped to have a lot of information handy.
Now? I keep short notes on a calendar of things I have accomplished each day as an encouragement to myself. I've never thought about a journal about how I feel emotionally.

I tried writing one many years ago. Nothing much happening to write about, would forget for several days.........thing went in the trash and I tore out the pages I wrote about.

I also tried keeping a journal some years ago, but after a while I realized I wasn't recording everything that was happening in it. So, I gave up on it.

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

I have never kept a journal either. It just wouldn't work for me. I do write appointments and dates on my calendar though.

I have never kept a journal but wish I had and started it many years ago. When I think back in the years that have gone by it would help with remembering so many things that have happened in my life. The only things I keep track of are appointments and things I have to do on a calendar on Outlook. It helps to keep my life more orderly.
