This usually works for me, when you post the picture use the center command before it, in brackets, of course.
It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

Thanks, Hawk. I just tried it again using the center command and it's still sideways. But thank you for your suggestion!

Try these three commands to get it to show, all in separate brackets br center image

Thanks, Hawk. I just tried the three commands all in brackets and still the photo is sideways. I just read some troubleshooting info and I'm going to try removing the metadata and see if that works.

Try once more and do it this way: Put the br and center commands first, then add a line of text, another br then add the image command. That is how I did it.

Thanks, Elaine. I think it must have something to do with portrait orientation so I'm going to take a new photo, this time with landscape orientation to see if it uploads more easily. Wish me luck!

Images posting incorrectly seems to be a problem related to cell phones. I am clueless as to why it happens. I always use a laptop for my images, so I've never encountered this issue. Sorry!

You're right, Koffla. I did take the photo with my cell phone and then went through many failed attempts to upload. Even the nuclear option of stripping off the metadata didn't work. Only retaking the photo as landscape worked so next time I'll know only to take landscape oriented photos if I'm planning to upload here.
