Thank you Hawk for your suggestions yesterday as I struggled to get a portrait style photo to post. Still not sure what was causing the issues yesterday but today I decided to try a workaround. I took the photo again but as landscape and then cropped it into portrait style. Where there is a will there is a way!

In a word, "NO". I just like what I like and it doesn't matter if it goes with something else. And I tend to stay with the same stuff forever. You and my daughter in CA would get along wonderfully..... she loves to change things around and get new (or old) things. She recently bought a mid century coffee and end table set that is glass with metal flower and leaves and cat tails in the pedestal bases. The colors are old fashioned, so she taking it apart and painting them to match her current color scheme. I'm sure it will look great, until she decides to change everything again. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

A brass pot with a plant for the center of the table! Thank you for the idea Sewg!! I had been looking online for a brass candleholder for the table but I was really striking out on finding one. I think your idea will work!

I love the lighting and the table and chairs, really lovely. I like the idea of the brass curtain rod. Whatever you decide I'm sure will be in the best possible taste.

I think you're onto something there, Misstauri!! Everything I was looking at online seemed to compete with the pattern on the chair backs, but a teardrop shape that would mimic the light would probably fit right in. Thanks for the idea!

That's a super idea, Maggie! I knew that I couldn't use brass in just one place in the room, but it never occurred to me to tie the brass in with the room by combining the brass and black on one object. Love it!

I loved your idea of posting the before and after, ET! I was able to find a photo from the online listing sheet for my condo at the time I purchased it. I added the photo, above. It shows the chandelier I swapped out and how the previous owner decorated the space. In fairness to the previous owner, they may have removed decorative items before taking this listing photo to make sure the space didn't look cluttered when it was put on the market.

Thanks, ET!
