During the summer months the beaches are closed off overnight and they reopen when the lifeguards and beach monitors arrive in the morning. That means I have only about another week to take sunrise photos (until after Labor Day)! A day without dance is .... just kidding. I have no idea!

If I had to pick, I'd say the first three are my favorites, but I like them all. First off, it's because it is one of my favorite subject matter..... the water and beach. Second, I like the way the foreground is dark, with the promise of day shining in the background. Very enjoyable pictures. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Well PearlsWithMyJeans I can't see from where I am sitting that you did anything wrong when you took these photos. They are all beautiful. I have trouble with taking photos with my cell phone of getting the right angle. I know you can do a lot of adjustments with your cell phone when taking photos. Sunsets and sunrises are my two favorite times of the day.

They are all great, but the third one is my favourite because of it's reflection in the water. Lovely photos Pearl.

Beautiful indeed. The first and last would be my favourites. I really like soft sunrises without the sun's glare, and scattered clouds gently bathed in light. Your efforts were well rewarded. :- )
