Welcome to Week 37 – K Week: Pearls' Coastal Capers! Featuring: Kissing, Kelley's, Korean, Kennedy, Kaleidoscope KISSING Two gulls kissing at Bass River Park, West Dennis. OK, I know they're not really kissing but it's a great K-word, right? lol KELLEY'S The previous photos I've shared of Kelley's Pond were taken on warm, bright summer days. You could see a hint of sunrise, kayaks and a dinghy on shore surrounded by lush green flowering plants, birds flying overhead, and moored boats, buoys, and waterfowl in the background. Things are so different off season as you can see from this photo. The water level has risen so the bench doesn't look very inviting. The usually calm water is choppy, and the sky hasn't yet cleared after a recent rain storm. This is Cape Cod in the winter and I am so looking forward to spring! KOREAN, KENNEDY Sunrise at Veterans Memorial Park in Hyannis, location of the Korean War Memorial and the Kennedy Memorial. It was a fun photo session. I timed the photograph to capture rays of sunrise peeking through the clouds as the wind moved the clouds across the sky from west to east. KALEIDOSCOPE Working with a photo I took last May of sky and reeds at Clippers Launch, I used the LunaPic app's kaleidoscope filter to create this special effect. It was easy and fun! Lovely photos Pearls! The sunset one is my favorite. You and Kofla are our resident photographers. Also a special mention to Sparkle as well. These photos are so fantastic. I will never look at seagulls now without thinking of the male and female having a kiss. Well done Pearls!

Lovely, as usual. I enjoy water pics, no matter the season or whether calm or turbulent. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
