Welcome to Week 48 – V Week: Pearls' Coastal Capers! Featuring: Vernal, Vignette, Vanilla, Vacation, Venie's VERNAL The first flowers I saw of the VERNAL season 2022, taken in South Dennis on April 2nd. VIGNETTE, VANILLA Just me playing around with filters again! This is a photo of an antique center in West Harwich that I took last November. I thought it might be fun to play up the antique theme and give the photo a vintage look so I added a VIGNETTE overlay and a VANILLA filter. It would be more believable if it weren't for the late model SUV parked out front. Oops! Well I had fun working with filters anyway  VACATION I visited Aiden of West Yarmouth last September to view their entry in the Town of Yarmouth's Annual Sand Sculpture Trail and while there I noticed how pretty the landscaping was in the front of the building. It's a fairly new VACATION property and I was curious so I did a little research. Everything I read seemed so interesting … charismatic abstract design, boldly curated meals, and a hip boutique atmosphere. Now if they could just pick it up and move it a couple of miles closer to the ocean! lol VENIE'S Sunrise at Uncle VENIE'S Roadhead Beach, Red River in Harwich. As you can see from the beachgrass in the foreground this was a wintertime photo. I look forward to returning in a month or two when I expect the landscape will be even more beautiful. Thanks! The idea of turning it into a vignette didn't occur to me until well after I took the photo. Had I thought of it when I was there taking the photo I'd probably have waited a little bit to see if the SUV was going to move. It's OK though .. I had fun playing with the filter. A day without dance is .... just kidding. I have no idea!

I love to see sunrise and also sunset. God and the angels do paint beautiful "pictures" for us to enjoy.

Love your crocus photo. Crocuses bloom very early here where I live. They always been one of my favorite blooms of spring. You always do a nice array of photos Pearls. I think I have missed some of your Foto-Friday postings.
