Welcome to Week 52 – Z Week: Pearls' Coastal Capers! Featuring: Zephyrs, Zen, Zizz ZEPHYRS At Chase Brook Park in West Yarmouth just after sunrise on a breezy January day, ZEPHYRS are swaying the reeds. ZEN This July 2021 photo makes me think of the word ZEN. A cute frog in Ardha Padmasana pose outside the Lemon Tree Village Shops in Brewster. ZIZZ Another new word for me! “Zizz”, informal for nap. Demonstrated by my cat as he dozes off in front of the electric fireplace around Christmastime. Thanks for joining me for Pearls' Coastal Capers - “Z week”! A day without dance is .... just kidding. I have no idea!

Lol .. could be! He's a rescue kitty who was found in an area that had lots of ponds so he might have done some actual fishing in his youth! A day without dance is .... just kidding. I have no idea!

Of course, you know I love that first photo! I need to take advice from that frog.... I do sort of "zen out" when I set on my patio, pray, and watch the clouds and listen to the sounds of nature and farming, but I need to do it more often. I like that fireplace. We have a wood burning one that we never use. I've turned to the Yule log channel on TV and watched it burn at times, but I think I would prefer a channel with a waterfall. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

great pics ! I thought that Zizz was the cats name ! But I think using the word zizz should turn out to be kind of comical to see what kind of responses I get ! LOL Like " I zizz daily " or " talk to U later I'm zizzing " LMAO

Very interesting "Z" photos, Pearls. I wish I could relax like that cute frog, and "zen out" from time to time. Your cat looks really cosy and contented zizzing in front of your lovely fireplace. That's a new word for me too, good one too.

Your photos for Foto-Friday are beautiful as always. The first photo is a lovely one with the sun behind the clouds. Sun and clouds you never get the same one twice. Of course the frog has to be my favorite as I love frogs. A cat "Zizzing" is a new word for me but I like it. Cats never fail to amuse me.

Thank you! It was a wonderful weekend. My daughter visited so we could celebrate both my birthday and Mother's Day. The highlight of the weekend was sorting through family photos, some of which dated back to the late 1800's! We posted many of them on a genealogy focus group that I belong to and I'm having fun reading and replying to comments. A day without dance is .... just kidding. I have no idea!

Thanks for the info about the webinar .. sorry to have missed it. I slept right though it. My cat's sleep schedule has been disrupted lately because he's not feeling well and he has kept me up with him by whining and clawing at the door and carpet. My new sleep schedule is "catch a few ZZZ's whenever the cat is sleeping"! The vet has evaluated him and has offered a prescription to help him sleep. Initially I declined but maybe it's time to give it a try. If you attended the webinar I hope you enjoyed it! A day without dance is .... just kidding. I have no idea!
