Tend to Your Mental Health

Have you ever set a goal to boost your mental health? Many prefer the term well being. I personally think of it as self-care.

Most people understand the goal of maintaining their physical health and preventing physical illness. Mental health is important to maintain, and can possibly prevent mental illness in some cases.

What would you do if you wanted boost your mood today? Here are a few things that I do to promote my well being.
*Give to others
*Keep physically active
*Learn something new
*Connect with people

What works best for you?

Hello Sewg, my last name starts with a Z, so my mother named us all with that letter in our first name . MH Is a daily battle for some but an effort is needed to keep going.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KEEP THE MIND ACTIVE. I ATTEND LECTURES AND READ A LOT. NOW, OF COURSE, THE LECTURES ARE BY VIDEO BUT THE PROCESS IS MUCH THE SAME AS LIVE. ALSO I GET A GOOD AMOUNT OF EXERCISE. AND NO TEQUILA (I DON'T LIKE IT.)

Walking, light exercise, and getting lost in a good book. Several cups of tea helps no end.

Hi Sue...Thanks for this blog.
Well, I enjoy doing different things at the computer, as creating videos, writing. I continue taking English classes, I found an interesting app called Duolingo, I like it. I also like words games, as Scrabble.
Physically, I can't exercise myself anymore...So, it's important to me to keep my mind active and bussy.
