I love the taste of peppers, but I HATE for my mouth to be on fire, so I stay away from the hot ones. I was always amazed at the Mexican restaurant to see little kids gulping down the hot salsa and chips, when I asked for the mild, with some sour cream to cut the heat even more.
I know, I know.... I'm a pansy.

HAHAHA MRS JOE. I DONT EAT THESE / THEY ARE VERY HOT. WHEN I MAKE CHILI I WILL USE RED PEPPER FAKES AN GROUND RED PEPPER.. I DID USE HABENAROS ONCE. THEY BUNT ME UP.

MY MOM WOULD EAT LITTLE GREEN HOTEPPER LIKE CANDY. SHE GREW THEM. HER BEING RAISED IN RURAL ALABAMA. SHE HAD TO LEARN TO EAT ANYTHING. I CANNOT FIND THE ONES SHE ATE IN STORES.

SO I FOUND WHAT LOOKS LIEK THE SAME ONES.

MAYBE 2 TO 4 INCHES LONG LIKE A PENCIL,

THEY MADE MY EYES WATER IF I ATE THEM.

I WILL USE THESE ONLY TO MAKE PEPPER SAUCE. I PUT PEPPER SAUCE ON COLLARDS, TURNIPS, AND IN LIMA BEANS.

I ALSO MAKE COREN BREAD AND USED THE LICKWID IN THE BATTER

I USED TO EAT GREEN ONIONS BUT M Y YOUTHFUL TRANSGRESSIONS HAS COEMN HOME TO HAUNT ME. MY TUMMY IS NOT AS TOLARENT AS IT ONES WAS.

I HOPE MR JOE IS FEELING WELL ALL MY LOVE TO U AN HIM

I like your clay pot, it looks interesting. Born in Indonesia, I am familiar with cayenne peppers and to this day, continue to enjoy them - rice dishes without chillies seem bland without. I store all my chillies in the freezer as they keep indefinitely and use only what I need. I also have on hand, dried cayenne peppers which I often add to curries and sajurs.

hi Lilium. i found the pot at home depot. i was not sure if it would serve m purpose. it is very heavy

i decided to buy it since it would allow me to have the 4 plants in one place and move with t eh sun.

cayenne or a version native to the south USA has been grown for many years. the small green ones my mom raised were fiery hot but tasty.

THE MCELHENNY family in Louisiana has produced hot sauce for many years. they have an island. i think now the peppers they use are grown in cental america.

thank you for your comments. MAY GOD BLESS U ON THE HOLY WEEKEND OF EASTER
