"Hot and Steamy" What isn't hot and steamy about knowing someone's views of the world, before knowing the color of their fruit of the looms. What is there to desire more than good friends and good conversations? Exchanging insight's on interesting subjects or just daily life is very engaging. It sparks the mind. It invigorates the soul. One of the best parts of the morning is when I can break early and have coffee with a group of people from all over the world, and we have known each other for a very long time. Some of us have known each other for decades. some exchange hellos, others include hugs.....it is like that bit of added sparkle to the sunrise. Relaxing in the evening and finding out about everyone's day and adventures is very pleasant. In the summer I am often out and about until sunset and I miss everyone....and it is a little bit of a bummer on those days. Some friendships are deep, others shallow. Some of us meet, either as a group or just one another. We make memories. We share bonds. We care. Of course, some fight like bickering siblings. Sometimes heated debates come when thoughts do not meet on the same level. Every family has its disfunctional days and members. I think the popularity of hopping a flight to "get a little" has waxed and waned. Although I still travel to visit....sometimes even exchange a real hug or kiss. I also welcome members that are traveling through and would like to stop and visit. It may not be something that ends in senior sex. Sometimes Pie a'la Mode, a long walk, or a bonfire with refreshments. I might be wrong, but the site does state Senior Friend Finder........I think it has certainly lived up to that, and for some, beyond.

Hot and steamy? Isn't that the best way to enjoy lobster..... or fresh baked yeast rolls? It's also the way our weather has been a lot of the last three weeks. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

I HAVE MET SEVERAL PEOPLE FROM THE SITE AND FOUND MY AUSSIE PAL HERE ALTHOUGH HE DID NOT STAY ON THE SITE ALL THAT LONG. WE STILL SEND MAILS JUST ABOUT EVERY SINGLE DAY AFTER ALL THESE YEARS.

What a wonderful description of how SFF and the chat room functions, Twilight!!  I understand about getting to know someone... their personality & world views before actually getting up close & personal. Over the years, I've met chatters who were passing through my town, gone to mini gatherings, and to big bashes. How great it is to be able to hug those real folks I've met in the chat room, and not just give virtual hugs....

Nothing steamy here, but there is a lot of heat! COME ON FALL!!! I have met some very nice people here, even have driven up to meet them for dinner as they were passing through. No hot and steamy, just pleasant conversation and laughter. I have my online friends and those I talk to on the phone occasionally. Some people you click with and it's as if you have known them all your life. I never made it to any of the bashes, those seemed like they'd be so much fun!

Love this blog ! I haven't met anyone yet, except one person who is from FF and SFF. I'm pretty shy at first. But then when I meet someone, after a few I act like I do when I am online. I enjoy all the beautiful pics and stories shared. I would probably love meeting some of U someday ! Now we just settle for virtual HUGS

Oh yeah! I remember that blog and the great responses from our bloggers here! I got a good laugh from them! He either had a very big ego, or a vivid imagination as to what he would find here on a seniors site, maybe both.

Great blog, enjoyed the read. My late husband and I met several nice people from the site many years ago. Some of whom I still keep in touch with. Great memories of happy times.
