Bad Trend

There is a very bad trend going on out there right now. An even dumber one than eating Tide Pods.
Both Men and women are being told to stay, yes stay, in marriages with a cheating spouse. Keep forgiving them and stay.
At the end of 2020, Globally over 37 Million people were known to be HIV positive. Add to that any number of STDs. Anyone out there risking their own life and their spouses health, does not deserve more chances. Its like saying "oh you missed, have another round"
It is abuse, no one tolerates abuse, no one supports abuse. Cheating is abuse. It puts health at risk, emotional well being at risk, financial stability is at risk.
Whether you are male or female, put that foot down babe and use it to walk out.

Sex is the most confusing thing we do..( I do speak from a man's perspective) Confused by society, gender,and the human psych..... A misinterpreted factor of evolution and a manipulation by religion. Evangelicals will tell you sex outside of marriage is a bad thing..It's both right and wrong.. Right because it's a symptom of a problem...Wrong because Evangelical assume it's all about sex.
Evolution has created "add-ons" to sex that for almost all other living organsm have nothing do with sex and propagation. So we have added to sex... defining beauty, prowess, gender indentification, worthinesss, SIN and LOVE.
I certainly don't disagree with what you are saying......It's a problem, but it's not just a sex problem.

I definitely agree Twilight!!

Not only is infidelity dangerous to the faithful spouse's health, which is abuse,

once the trust of the marriage bond is broken, there's no going back.

And here I thought the Tide Pod challenge was a stupid trend!

No way would I ever stay with a cheater! Once a cheat, always a cheat!

It really confuses me to see strong people accepting the idea of not just once but repeatedly taking a cheater back. Among other things they are telling people to accept and keep trying.
I can understand the forgiving.....its a mistake and mistakes happen, giving you the chance to do it again, that is on me.
