Labor Unions called for Tariffs on imports when Reagan began his assault on US Labor in the 80s. Trump imposed Tariffs on imports after we had become DEPENDENT on imports ... Happy Labor Day folks

Exactly!! China now owns us ALL economically. Outsourcing has decimated our middle class... manufacturing, medical supplies/medicines, and technology, clothing etc. etc. etc. etc. China doesn't need to have a war with our countries. They just have to turn off the supply 'tap' for a week or two~~ What a mess~~~  .... The worst part is that we've done it to ourselves!!

China wouldn't have that power if Westerners weren't so addicted to "STUFF".......If people just stopped thinking they needed all that crap....Consumers have done it to themselves......Just stop......no one needs plastic Christmas or Halloween decorations....and all that baby and toddler gear......Most of the stuff in Walmart is useless crap......the amount of clothing people go through is astounding........ China is the pusher and Westerners are the addicts.....If people don't like the relationship, deal with your addiction....

I have long said just this. They not only control inport and export, but they OWN many "American" businesses. We let media, politicians , and our (so-called) leaders tell us what to think and where to look. As children growing up did you ever go out and build a fort? Now kids build in video games in pixels. It is not the same. What we see on the news or in articles is what we are intended to see. We look at only what is given to us, but not at all that really goes on. If we were wise, when headlines are exploding around the world.....we would be looking for the little man behind the curtain.....WE would be looking for that "thing" they do not want us to see.

I ALWAYS HAD DOUBTS ABOUT GLOBALIZATION AND EVERYONE SAID THERE WAS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. NOW INDUSTRIES THAT OUTSOURCED ARE COMING BACK TO FRANCE AND HIRING RETIRED WORKERS TO GET THE FACTORIES WORKING AGAIN. I GUESS I WASN'T AS WRONG AS ALL THAT.

The worst part is that we've done it to ourselves!!Before the mass exodus of jobs went full throttle, Labor Unions called on the Reagan Administration to impose Tariffs on Companies who abandoned US Labor for cheap labor overseas. ..........harsh Tariffs that would make them more profitable if they stay in the USA. Donald Trump slashed taxes on the same Globalists who turned their backs on US Labor. And when the Treasury began hemorrhaging money Trump imposed Tariffs on imports. Then he lied and said China pays the Tariff ..........importers pay Tariffs and they're not too worried about it ... they pass the cost on to us
