Did you perhaps mean to write warrior instead of worrier?

Very nice photo and I will not critize your English. The warriors are fierce but , in their own way, kind and gentle with the land.

Welcome to blogland Saitakwet. Our Republican worriers are harmless but they might snap at you ...

You have no idea what was in my mind at all, so buzz off.
In this day of troubles, a worrier is also a danger to himself or herself, and I didn't know if he meant it as a philosophical statement about worrying, or as a tribute to the great Maasai warriors. I was NOT criticizing his English, but just wondering about the content or intent of the blog.

Greetings Saitakwet, it certainly is exciting to have a Massai warrior visit this seniors site . Can I ask what is the reason for stating the warriors are more dangerous than lions?

I read the Covid pandemic has devastated the livelihoods of many semi-nomadic Maasai living in the vast savannah as they were making a living from their cattle (livestock yards/slaughter houses were closed) and tourists (Kenya's billion dollar tourism industry). That there is a concern 'that in the struggle to survive, without Govt. support or other livelihood opportunites, desperate communities living around protected areas may stop protecting wildlife, resort to poaching to get by, or sell land'. I'm sorry to hear that. On a more encouraging note, I read an initiative started up in one Maasai conservancy community in finding other ways of generating income is meeting with some success, for example, deciding to train the villagers in beekeeping, growing vegetables and the women taught to make soaps & hand sanitisers for the community; even crowdfunding. [Nashulai Maasai Conservancy August 2020]. How is it for you and your community?
