Do You Know Any Lowlifes?

Lowlife = A vulgar, coarse, or undignified person.

Only days after causing a downgrade in America's credit rating, the lowlifes are planning another destructive tactic, Impeachment Never mind there are not valid charges. The idea is simply to slow down economic recovery even more. Do you think this will cause the other 2 rating agencies to downgrade America's credit rating further? What's your take??

'Impeach Obama' tea party group tells Texas Rep. Burgess

By Aman Batheja | The Fort Worth Star-Telegram

Hours after the Dow Jones industrial average closed down more than 600 points Monday, U.S. Rep. Michael Burgess, R-Lewisville, heard from local conservatives who were unhappy that he supported legislation that many believed led to the calamitous day on Wall Street.
Burgess was one of seven Texas Republicans in the House to vote for the landmark deal that raised the country's debt ceiling by $2 trillion while cutting more than that in public spending.
As Burgess told about 100 people at a NE Tarrant Tea Party meeting, he didn't like the deal but thought supporting it was the right thing to do under the circumstances.
"I came to the conclusion that my country was more important than me, and if this meant I wasn't successful in running for re-election, I could not veer into that unknown territory of going past Aug. 2 without a resolution," Burgess said.
Many Tea party activists view the deal as an instance of Republicans acquiescing too early. When one attendee asked who in the room disagreed with Burgess' decision to support the bill, nearly everyone put a hand in the air.
Mitchell Monis of Keller called the deal "a joke" and told Burgess that he was very disappointed by his decision to support it. "You caved," Monis said.
Burgess said the recent U.S. debt downgrade by Standard & Poor's made him more certain that supporting the deal was the right thing to do, because the fallout could have been worse.
"I didn't want the country to go through what it is going through right now," Burgess said. "It's not the president's downgrade. The downgrade affected the whole country."
When asked whether he would vote for another increase in the debt limit, Burgess said, "No," adding that he believed both chambers of Congress could instead move forward a balanced-budget amendment.
When one attendee suggested that the House push for impeachment proceedings against President Barack Obama to obstruct the president from pushing his agenda, Burgess was receptive.
"It needs to happen, and I agree with you it would tie things up," Burgess said. "No question about that." When asked about the comment later, Burgess said he wasn't sure whether the proper charges to bring up articles of impeachment against Obama were there, but he didn't rule out pursuing such a course.

Who can ever confuse a Tea Party person with an intelligent human being?

Obama should have learned long before now that you don't negotiate with terrorists. The Tea Party will run this country into ruin in order to achieve their fantasy based ideology. The Tea Party reminds me of a parasite that believes that it can destroy the host and remain alive.

Do I know any lowlifes? Not personally but I have observed a few. I choose to not associated with crazy people.

I am a lowlife.

I believe the peanut butter (whatever he is) is a "LEGEND IN HIS OWN MIND".

I believe in a hand up, NOT a hand out.

I am a proud member of the Tea Party with perfect attendance. I will be so long as I can breathe and free. If skippy thinks I'm a terrorists; I hope I am the rest of my life.

I believe if, "your income is less than your outgo, your upkeep will be your downfall". I also believe if America does not learn this we are a fallen nation.

Had this administration listened to the PEOPLE, we all wouldn't be in the position we are now.......this so-called leader is impotent. He has no leadership skills....he only wants to dictate. This country cannot allow, under any circumstances, his agenda to become the law of the land.

Lowlife or Deadbeat Dad?

Tea Party Favorite Could Face Ethics Probe Over Alleged Child Support Debt
"Over the weekend, freshman Tea Party Congressman Joe Walsh (R-Ill.) vowed to "privately and legally" fight claims by his ex-wife that he owes more than $100,000 in child support. He insisted that he wasn't a deadbeat dad, but as Talking Points Memo reported Tuesday, if he owes even a fraction of that amount, he could be in hot water with the House Ethics Committee."

Hi Sunshine: The Repubs have made a shambles of the U.S. They have blocked all progress and any hope to better the economy or the country. To me, all of this was done with one express aim in mind, to try every dirty trick they could dream up to discredit President Obama. I can't even imagine there is one voter in the whole U.S. who doesn't see through the Repubs and their political games.

The Repub's candidate lost the last presidential election, and they have never been able to accept that fact. Even though President Obama won the election fair and square, they obviously don't want a black Democrat with an unusual sounding name as their president. Case closed.

Bijou,
People see what they wish to see, and interpret things to suit their beliefs, but the fact is, Republicans made no secret(during the first 2 weeks after Obama's election) of the fact they were going to do what it took to make this president fail...even if it means destroying you and I in the process. Smaller govt.,spending, the future of our children, has little to do with it.

Commentary: 'Tar baby' is just more nasty GOP politics

By Leonard Pitts Jr. | The Miami Herald, 8/10/2011

Ladies and gentlemen, here he is, "your boy," that "tar baby," the president of the United Sates, Barack Obama: Ahem.
The first title was bestowed upon Obama by political commentator Patrick Buchanan on Tuesday, the second by U.S. Rep. Doug Lamborn on the Friday before last, the third by the American electorate in November of 2008. If the first two seem to cancel out the third, well, that's the point. One hopes they will help the president understand something he has thus far refused to grasp about his political opposition. Namely, these people don’t want to be friends. They don’t want to compromise for the greater good. They don’t want to solve problems unless by problems you mean his continued tenancy in that mansion on Pennsylvania Ave.
They have not been coy about this. Rush Limbaugh said it ("I hope he fails") when Mrs. Obama was still picking out a dress for the inauguration. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said in November that, in a time of war and recession, his number one goal is to deny Obama a second term.
Yet somehow, the Obama brain trust, a term herein used advisedly, always seems caught off guard by the ferocity, velocity and fury of the response to him. They were surprised at the verbal and physical violence of the health care debate, surprised at the hardiness of the birther nonsense, surprised by the stiff defense of the Bush-era tax cuts.
Now, they are surprised the GOP would rather see the U.S. economy go off a cliff than surrender the aforementioned tax cuts for rich folks. So the debt ceiling gets raised in exchange for cuts to services for the poor, who shortsightedly failed to hire lobbyists.
It is time Obama quit being surprised by the predictable, time he understood this is not politics as usual. No, this is a new thing, repulsion at a visceral, indeed, mitochondrial, level. Obama’s denigrators are appalled by the newness of him, the liberality of him, the exoticness of him and, yes, and the blackness of him.

Roxy,

Divide and conquer is one of the oldest winning tactics in history. As humans, we must have very small brains, as we keep falling for the same game over and over again. The other winning tactic is spreading lies, which the Republicans are experts at. They have a new lie circulating on the GOP page and circulating around the Internet now claiming a tax on selling your home is hidden in the Healthcare bill. You would think people would research it's factualness before believing it, but no, that's too much trouble. They continue circulating it as fact.

Did you ever think that had we had a POTUS instead of a blithering empty suit that the Tea Party would never have been formed? It was the man in the White House that divided this country with his agenda, nothing more.
