I wonder what kinds of birds frequent the bird feeders there in people's yards. I bet there are some colorful ones. Do you have a bird feeder, or do you know what kinds of birds feed on them?

"Surfin' Bird" is a song performed by American surf rock band The Trashmen, containing the repetitive lyric "the bird is the word". Carolina where did you get this from?
In my area where I live there are lots of birds. The most common ones are the seagulls, crows, geese, pigeons and then come spring a whole lot of other birds arrive. We seem to have a lot of hummingbirds around judging by the number of feeders I see around. There are certain ducks here during the winter and then come spring they leave and other varieties arrive.

I HAVE SEEN VERY FEW BIRD FEEDERS HERE. WE ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO FEED THE PIGEONS AND THE GULLS ARE VERY DANGEROUS AT TIMES. INLAND AND IN THE VAR DEPARTMENT THERE ARE MORE VARITIES OF BIRDS AND IN THE MOUNTAINS WE HAVE VULTURES AND EAGLES AND SUCH.

I love him. We used to have a lot of birds coming in to the garden to be fed, until we suddenly had a visiting cat! Now I just have a few robins annd starlings.

No bird feeders in the city. They'll be lucky to have a yard.
