"Surfin' Bird" is a song performed by American surf rock band The Trashmen, containing the repetitive lyric "the bird is the word". Carolina where did you get this from? In my area where I live there are lots of birds. The most common ones are the seagulls, crows, geese, pigeons and then come spring a whole lot of other birds arrive. We seem to have a lot of hummingbirds around judging by the number of feeders I see around. There are certain ducks here during the winter and then come spring they leave and other varieties arrive.

I HAVE SEEN VERY FEW BIRD FEEDERS HERE. WE ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO FEED THE PIGEONS AND THE GULLS ARE VERY DANGEROUS AT TIMES. INLAND AND IN THE VAR DEPARTMENT THERE ARE MORE VARITIES OF BIRDS AND IN THE MOUNTAINS WE HAVE VULTURES AND EAGLES AND SUCH.
