Panther i am so sorry for you. I can understand because my brother had a Fbook acct and after he died it was taken off.

I thought you had to present a death certificate in order to delete an account of someone who is deceased. Why are there so many accounts still on FB of people who are deceased?

Sorry to hear that ! I just looked at my late bf's page the last thing he had posted was Jan 10 2013. Not his whole profile anymore but pictures and also one post sent to me. I've lost quite a few memories that I had from him ! I totally know how U feel !

It may be a little too late for your father's account, but Face.book has a feature that when a person dies, a family member can contact Face.book and the account is not deleted but "memorialized".
