Sometimes....

Sometimes I read profiles. A lot says they r looking for fun and they r married ! I mean what is fun in their eyes ???? I mean I am 68, I live with family, it's hard for me to describe FUN !!!!!! It's fun to have the house to myself and take a shower with the door opened to the bathroom. It's fun to stay in bed if I want to, and not have to pee ! It's fun to see my grandkid having fun. I know there r some more fun things to do, BUT.....I don't have him in my life anymore.
So those of U that r married and with ur spouse....please explain to me what U mean ?

The kind that say that they're looking for fun stuff and they're married probably not happily, or the other spouse is not sexually satisfying their needs which means they shouldn't be married in the first place

I see it both ways though ! I had my reasons for cutting them off, like cheating on me, or drinking too much. The cheating made me walk away and never go back.

That is good thought provoking thoughts you have posted Star. I have never been married and if I had been I wouldn't have been on a site such as this looking for so called "fun" as described by some on here. Steamboy's comment that they should have not been married in the first place is probably right. They are only fooling themselves.

THE NOTION OF FUN FOR THOSE MARRIED FOLKS LOOKING FOR OUTSIDE RELATIONSHIPS SOUNDS MORE LIKE LOOKING FOR TAKING RISKS IN MY VERY HUMBLE OPINION. SOONOR OR LATER THE SPOUSE WILL FIND OUT.

I have friends that r guys. One particular man used to tell me that his wife didn't love him. I told him he was crazy ! His wife hated my guts ! He was a collector, and when the things he collected came in, I would put them on the side and call him. Now granted, anyone in their right mind would think, me calling his house doesn't mean relationship. His wife was beautiful and had nothing to worry about from me ! I told him if she didn't love him, she wouldn't be chasing around trying to see what he's doing !

Some are in love with the idea of being in love, the excitement of the new conquest, etc. My Ex believed flirting online was harmless, but it cost him in the tens of thousands, chasing the dream that young girls would want him. He was catfished a lot.
For me, the bans must be set or there is no exclusive in dating. That is an old fashioned courtship term. Dating is dating, there is a time when things become more serious and that is the time when people move into exclusiveness. This is not something that happens without a good deal of consideration. Once that dedication is made, it is firm.

Yes I totally agree with U ! I pretty much have given up trying to find happiness with someone. It's too much work and stress ! LOL

When I joined this site, I did not have dating in mind but just communicating with mature people and finding some friendship. It did not take long to know, what some men were after. I listened to "sad stories" and made them move on. What some call Fun is not my fun.

I like to tell these married men that I don't play without the consent and participation of the wife. That shuts them up real quick.
