Bakers............ "W"heaat Over the years I have enjoyed baking breads. I've even done some exotic loaves and buns. My question is; Have any of you tried Sprouted Wheat Flour in any of your recipes? |

Looks like I need to "cut it" with all purpose flour.. Just taste & texture??? Surgery today did not go well... alotta pain tonight.

I have never made my own bread ! LOL I don't have a lot of patience. U have to rest more than U have been doing ! HUGS

Nope, I've never used sprouted wheat flour in anything. I haven't made bread in a few years either. Thanks for reminding me what I'm missing, there's nothing better than homemade bread. My problem is I don't each much bread and always end up throwing it away because it went bad.

I've tried a store bought sprouted seed pizza base. It wasn't too bad, in fact I bought another pack of two recently for its purported health benefits. Made a margherita topping with home grown, slow roasted cherry tomatoes w/garlic, fresh cherry mozzarella and basil leaves. Delicious.

Nah, I'm good. Kind of off eating starches for awhile and sticking to a keto diet. Not to lose weight, but because of how it causes my blood sugar to drop drastically. I find the keto diet helps keep that from happening and it stays more balanced. Hypoglycemia sucks, but it's better than having to take insulin.
