Lost Perspective in Blogs Many bloggers are under the impression they might change your religion or political party by their posting. The only accomplishment is ill-will, antagonism, and resentment. Blogs should be a positive influence, informative, and entertaining NOT a pointless haranguement on a topic of immutable personal beliefs. Let us strive to regain our past communications and interactions as an informed community free from the negativity. |

ALSO..... IF you drop by a blog and read it... comment..... a comment is the grease to the wheel of a worthwhile presentation. A lack of commentary is a sign to the author they are on the wrong track needing to rethink their position. >>> SUPPORT THE POSITIVE; DISDAIN FOR THE NEGATIVE <<<

I never discuss politics or religion, that's my way of staying out of trouble. If that makes me a coward so be it. Growing up as child I saw plenty of heated arguments and rows all to do with politics and religion.

I think what Darter is saying that there is so much hate going on on the outside. And would rather see positive things. In reference to harsh blogs made to certain people on here ... hiding behind fake identities is very disgusting. I don't bother looking at the political or religious blogs. The religious blogs that r wrapped up with verses in the bible and hate of someone isn't really something we need to even read ! I might look at it and move on. There is nothing wrong with discussing politics or religion. Hiding behind a fake name, it takes away from all the splendid beauty of the photo days and throwback days. Maudie it doesn't make U a coward. It makes U an of a person ! Blog on people !!!!!!!

Sometimes I have nothing to say and just come in to read. Whether I decide to make a comment, or not, is my choice. If a blog is of no interest to me, don't expect a comment.

In essence you are commenting... "Your blog topic or style" is NOT worth commenting on..... LOL! j

I find it more useful to focus on the issue versus the political or religious label. Kindness and civility is universal.

It's not at all what is meant, but you can take it anyway you want. I like it when someone comments and I enjoy the interactions between the members of SFF, but to say you should leave a comment is like telling someone how they should spend their money, or how they should live.

You are correct on both points... also buy more BEEF ! LOL... a tip from the Ranchers and Cattlemen's Association.

LOL, I didn't need anyone telling me to stock up on meat, did that long before the beef prices went up!

I agree with you Nile. As you know, this is not a new subject and is usually met with more controversy.

You are too kind.

Thanks Cayman. Nope, not a new subject here. I'm happy when people comment on my blogs, but I don't expect everyone to leave a comment.
