Alex helped me finish up canning the grape juice for a grand total of *7 1/2* gallons

I have too much paperwork and payroll to do yet to post the pickle recipe. I had another transfusion this afternoon which I pretty much slept through.

That's a nice load of grape juice to get you through the upcoming winter months. Glad Alex helped you finish off the huge challenge so none on the grapes went to waste.

I got my month-end bankruptcy book keeping and paperwork done a few days ago and submitted it to the trustee. Doing that is always stressful because the numbers don't balance.
I did some doggy sitting and walking today that kept me out of trouble. Loaned my van out to the neighbor to go to the city, as his wife had their only vehicle. He added $75 of gas to the tank, which was nice. I just had a pogo for a snack along with an iced tea.

This Saturday our village is holding its annual free pancake breakfast which will be in the park less than 100' from my back door. It is from 8 to 10 am and a parade will be held down the main st at 11. Don't blink because you might miss it. LOL!

Alex made it way easier and someone to talk to while picking the grapes and filling the jars.

I may have made a financial error and might need to come up with some big bucks in a pretty short order. I have a sizable bill for a customer that needs to be paid. Just keeping the tanks filled for the lawnmowers is starting to wear me into a frazzle.

Churches around here will do pancake suppers as a fundraiser in the Autumn also soup suppers. I like to hit them up and get out of cooking for the night.

Mission accomplished - that's quite a haul of grape juice you have there : ) . I admire your enthusiasm for pickling/preserving/freezing fresh produce - it's so grounding. The watermelon pickled rind can wait for now. Hope the fresh blood infusion does its magic soon to find you dancing about with renewed energy. : )

Would you believe I still haven't tackled the paperwork I should have done last month? Of course you would, if you knew what a procrastinator I am.
If there were a club for procrastinators, I could easily be the president and we would put off having meetings and probably never have one! Thankfully, none of the paperwork I need to do is very important..... not like what you have to get done in a timely manner.
I certainly hope the transfusion gives you a boost, but more importantly, I hope the docs figure out why you are needing them. I remember Joe having a gastroenterologist exploring internal bleeding, which was VERY obvious, and a hematologist exploring why the red blood cells were not the right shape and size. Thankfully, they came up with some answers, with a tentative solution and frequent blood work monitoring. Praying you get some answers and solutions soon.
