Late edition

Many of you like the spice ginger. It is an easy root to cultivate. When you go to your local market select roots with as many {eyes} as possible. Plant the rhizomes so that about an 1 1/2" of good quality potting soil covers them and water well.

I placed the pot out in partial sun This video will show you so much more than my blog.

While briefly rummaging at my favorite haunt I found these decorative medallions about 18" across.

I will try to paint them white with multi- gold dry brushed into it.

Meet Charlie... least wise that's what JD's been calling him. A stray he just showed up while I was gone and JD fed him./ He's stuck around and followed JD & Ronnie around the farm sleeping in the stable.

A lot of pain here tonight. I musta over did it today.... I pretty much have tossed the walker. Still no cigarette. Charlie is just such a happy wiggle butt a bunch of kisses and jumps into your lap. Probably take into the vet to see if he is chipped. Going into chat soon.

It's hard to judge by the picture how big Charlie is, but he reminds me so much of our Charlie dog from years ago. One of our little daughters was sick, and she kept wanting our dog brought into the house. The problem was he was an outside dog who didn't like being inside very long. So as soon as she was better, we took her dog shopping and found a small mixed breed black and white puppy.
It was love at first sight, and although he was a family dog, they bonded and where ever she was, there was Charlie. He lived to a ripe old age.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Charlie looks very much at home there with you and JD . I think he is going to stick around. 🙂 We have a cat called Charlie, he was a stray too. We have him over nine years now. He was a tiny kitten when he came knocking on our window one wet and stormy night. 🙂

Where did my comments go that I posted yesternight? I think this site is playing games with me. I don't need that.

I use ground ginger on my chicken when I bake it along with other spices. It gives chicken a nice flavor.
Nice find at the shop ! Can't wait to see what U do with them.
I hope I didn't scare U about ur up coming surgery ? It will be a breeze and U will feel so much better. Just do what the dr says and try to rest as much as possible for the first few days.
Charlie is a cutie ! Might be a blessing for U and JD

He was about 30 lbs. JD took him into the Vet for an exam and to see if he was chipped. His own wanted him back so JD left him at the office.

I am afraid he is gone now and we are down to three MUTTs.

Mmmmm I have my finds painted white and my gold paints are in waiting. I enjoy the ginger flavor too esp in General Tsao's. I remember responding to these comments and they just vanished. I've been too medicated and hit with pain to chat or stay awake late enough to chat.

We've always had the security of a faithful Rotti around the house. No one crosses a Rottweiler and I still tear up thinking of Roxy passing.
