Too Good

There's just some things that are so good they should be illegal ! I had some wind-fall apples that I thought should be used. The old McIntosh tree always has apples way in the tip top out of reach except for those brought by the wind.

I pealed, sugared, spiced, and coated the topping to make the perfect dessert.

A little vanilla ice cream on the top will be outstanding!

darter, sff, has reached a level of incompetence. i recall apples at my aunts home. she had a few trees always yummy. think of it. we ate apples that were on the ground and not washed. land a goshins
The old tree was planted when JD's dad was little. Macintosh apples make the best pies, crisps, and sauces by my recognition.

now that could get carried away pretty easy! I'd like it but JD might raise a stink.

Apple crumble is a delicious treat in early fall, and best served with ice cream, as you did. I'm sure you and JD enjoyed it. I hope you didn't overdo it in the kitchen preparing it. Take care my friend, and I'm sorry to hear you are in so much pain again. Huggs.....

JD just got done picking corn and was surprised by the apple crisp. MUTTs Inc are out barking at the moon. I stuck a ham shank on for bean soup.. even MUTTs Inc get in on the ham bones and hide. Pretty tired a long day without naps.

Now in both sites (FF and SFF) U have to go to home page and blogs r to the far right of the screen. can't get to blogs where it says blogs. And blog site looks like porn people.
mmmmmm Apples r great ! We just made apple bombs in the air fryer. I baked little pieces of apple in butter and cinnamon sugar, then took pop and fresh muffins cut in half and flattened out, put apple filling in middle and wrapped them up and baked. They were yummy sprinkled with cinnamon sugar on top

I planted three apple trees five years ago and this was the first year two of them produced apples. Not enough for baking anything yet, I'll see what next year brings.

I love apple juice, and sauce. I will cook a pork roast in apple sauce or juice to sweeten and flavor the meat.
