They're Coming To Take Me Away !  We got over two inches of rain MORE than enough to shut down harvesting... YET cooking for the guys is so ingrained................. Dogs were barking this morning outside... I just happened to glance out the kitchen window and there loping along the fencerow is that pretty bobcat out hunting between rain showers. I was going to make the guys beef stew.... LOL! Have to wait till next week.... Harvesting is done for the weekend.

You're lucky to see a bobcat "loping along"......I've only seen one sitting still on top of a tall stump.....It was above me......I was heading down the path to the outhouse in the dark....wearing a headlamp.....I heard a slight sound and looked up and there he was....sitting very still, his eyes glowing....... I find that I switch to automatic when I'm preoccupied and sometimes find myself doing very silly things.....
