Packratt 2.0  Alex is a bad influence on me when it comes to squandering money frivolously on items we really don't need.  ok............ $5 is not going to break the bank this crapped up chest of drawers just needs a sanding down and to be repainted to look fresh and good again.  The dovetailed joinery is of the highest quality in the solid wood construction.  The drawers are amazingly clean just needing to be wiped out. Just the cabinet's exterior needs cleaning up and refreshing. |

what a great buy for only $5.00 I love looking for old furniture that is actually made out of real wood lol it amazes me the people that paint over the lovely old wood will be interested when you have re finished this lovely piece of furniture

It's nice to find a quality piece of furniture that can be restored easily. I recently found a very large 9 drawer dresser made of solid wood with dovetail joints. It was extremely heavy. I gave it away to a neighbor.

Good to hear that you and Alex had fun thrift shopping. Your weather seems to be holding so Max can fly the plane back to Chicago safely. It is extremely windy here, tossing things around outside. It was difficult to sleep with all the noise. I just got up on this Sunday morning and will make bac'n'flips for breakfast.
