Hauled ^UP^  I have that $5 junk dressed all sanded, painted, and hauled up the stairs to the North -West bedroom.  Now I am open as to which lamp to place on top. I have this yellow rose flowered lamp.  This chromed "electrified' gas lamp with the amber glass shade.  Can also do candles  We can mix and match. I also have some silk flower arrangements that might work too. |

Let me know what ya think. I brought the Royal Saudi carpet down for the dining room ... I slipped and hurt my back. I have a Drs appointment tomorrow afternoon. We are in for an Ice, sleet, and snow event Thursday afternoon into Friday.

Personally, I like the first lamp pictured because of its simplicity. On. Off. What a light should do. Electrified cola oil lamps I think are tacky. Candles are dangerous when used for illumination. Those are my humble opinions only.

I'm so sorry you hurt your back. You should have known better to move a heavy carpet by yourself. Please do take care and get it fixed at the Dr tomorrow. Get JD to drive you if it is icy. You don't need another accident. Huggs, Bret.

Personally, I wouldn't put anything tall on the dresser, maybe a picture and a small teakwood jewelry box, but the rose lamp looks the best if I had to choose.
