 WINDY, Rainy, 34 F... 1C here sooo close to an Ice storm. MUTTs Inc refuse to go outside. Roaring fire in the fireplace... like the Burnin of Atlanta! Two loads in the dishwasher and NO LEAKS.

 LOL, how funny!!

We had some severe storms go through with a cold front this morning, it's all heading east now. Some tornadoes, but not sure of the damages yet. I'm ok and so are my kids, nothing bad went through where I am.

I had a friend Jeffrey Schmidt growing up...This always came to mind this time of year. Glad you escaped the storm ok..

 I guess Santa was talking through his beard and the actual name of the house came through rather muffled to the lead reindeer. I'm sure your friend Jeffrey Schmidt eventually got a visit from Santa.

 It's 23F (-5C) here this afternoon, sunny, calm. Supposed to get 1 or 2" of snow overnight, then clearing by morning. Brutally cold next week with highs well below zero F.

Still raining here pretty steady with a balmy 35 F... 2C keeping us on the edge of a devastating ice storm. I've not even gone out to get the mail.... with 2 days to the big 15th.... Happy to just spend my day tossing wood in the fireplace, cooking, baking and watching some history documentaries on Stalin and the Cold War.

It's kind of cold outside 1 C, no storm in sight..... the sun was peeking through the fluffy clouds on and off.
