Bretty's Kitchen Klatter

With the Holiday Season bearing down on us I did a little experiment I'd like to share. Cheesecake Pudding ! Delicious !

In a two* quart saucepan mix 3Tablespoons Corn Starch, 1/2 cup sugar and a dash of salt

Get all your preparatory work done.... because once things start hitting you don't have time to mess around. You need Two* egg yokes, Two* tablespoons butter, two* teaspoons Vanilla, 8oz Cream cheese and two* cups milk.

Add your milk and vanilla to the dry ingredients and turn the heat to medium high. Be ready to STIR like you're a Pro!

Bring to a gentle boil stirring constantly. After about a minute of boiling remove the pan from the heat; add your butter then slowly the beaten egg yokes. KEEP STIRRING! Add the cream cheese mixing it in gently.

This recipe will make a generous pie or 9" X 9" dessert if you want to make a crust. I would have had 5 dessert dishes but with JD and too many "taste tests" we ended up with *FOUR*

.

I may pull the green cherries in lieu of strawberry jam. Our roads are CRAP with blowing and drifting snow. We're just munching away here with a big try of nachos and now creamy dessert.

Looks good and - I bet - tastes good. I don't know, where to find green cherries. I think grapes would do also! Enjoy the warm house and the delicious dessert!

About any kind of jelly or jam would taste quite fine on them.

I didn't do anything today but walk the dog. It was a relatively nice day reaching 30F. Tonight it is going to turn cold with snow and the temp continues to drop over the weekend until it bottoms out at -23F mid week when I have to go to the city.
