From Grandma


I was digging around in the pantry and stumbled across a jar of Strawberry Jam made by the hands of my Grandmother.



The mouth of the jar was sealed with paraffin.



Amazingly the jam is still good! I put a spoon of the sweet treat on top of Vanilla Cheese Cake Pudding.

 The date on the lid.... 2012.... made me cry when I realized what it was. Ruby is wheezing and Rosie has been "unsettled" UP & DOWN... IN & OUT... I am awake now ... Rosie is back in ~~~ I have done the guy thing and am ready to go back to bed.

 Strawberry jam is my favorite. It is str's too ! Better hide it ! LOL

It got shoved behind some beet pickles. I wanted some pickles for X-mas and there it was! Christmas from Grandma.

 The label is worn with time but the jam was very good.
