2022 Holiday Train  The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train came back for its 24th year supporting food banks and food shelves.  The Special Train raised money, food, and awareness for food pantry security issues.  |

That CP holiday train is a sight to behold. It passes right through my village on its way to Lethbridge, where it stops and opens up the stage for a live performance from notable musicians. People turn out in droves to be entertained and to donate to the Food banks.

It was a pretty nice day here, mainly calm, sunny and a high of +3C (37F). I spent a couple hours in the morning helping a young fellow 2 doors down diagnose a problem with a power window on his 1995 TransAm. Turned out it needs a new motor, which is on order from GM . I had a turkey drumstick and dressing for supper; apple pie for dessert. Got a Xmas card in the mail from San Francisco that was mailed on Dec 13. That's speedy delivery, no?

What a beautiful old train!, I've never seen it before. Wow, Guitar Hero? LOL, my daughter and I wore that game out years ago.
