Summer’s End
The tide recedes, but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand. The sun goes down, but gentle warmth still lingers on the land. The music stops, yet echoes on in sweet, soulful refrains. For every joy that passes, something beautiful remains.

It’s always sort of bitter sweet when summer ends. I had such a wonderful time and made so many memories this year. The tan still lingers and that relaxing, no hurry, nowhere to be attitude still remains. I’m not yet ready for fall (which starts today). I guess the warm thoughts of all the special times will have to hold me over until next summer returns once again.
