Right? Left? As long as our government keeps us busy fighting each other it will keep us all distracted so they can pass another bill that will guarantee our slavery to them. That's what we all are, their slaves. The parasites produce nothing, yet tell us how to live and that we must do without while they live like kings. I remember back to what some call the good old days. There was government control on loan sharking (interest rates) -----check credit card rates now. There was control on price of oil, gold, electricity, natural gas. Banks could not sell stocks bonds or insurance, Savings and loan companies were separate from banks. Every time controls were reduced the little guy ( ME ) had to pay more for the corporate product. I still bitch about prices to this day. Protections for the middle class are out the window. When I hear people say they wish the government would do something about high prices and the economy --------- then say government get out of my life.---- I think WHAT?????????????????????? which way is it? Corporations have eliminated corporate controls and run wild. Every time something comes up for, we the people-------- corporate propaganda shouts socialism and HALF of WE the people vote against ourselves without thinking it out. Niles If I remember correctly Corporations got huge tax breaks during the last administration that will last indefinitely. Some of the minimal tax breaks for we the people were set to expire over time. In fact, it would be something to check out. Have our breaks expired as of this year making our tax bill go up?

Some of the minimal tax breaks for we the people were set to expire over time. In fact, it would be something to check out. Have our breaks expired as of this year making our tax bill go up?

I do not plan on coming back. But since you say you are barely hanging on financially. You might consider the fact corporations are raising prices. Corporate profits up about 3 TRILLION in 2021 so that proves the corporate tax break does not serve to keep prices affordable for the consumer. Plus stating that government should be out of ones life contradicts the reasoning that government should alleviate the problem.
