Latest Project. Huge dead oak tree stump removal. That thing is chain saw resistant. LOL 3 hours and I hardly made a dent in it. It is like trying to saw through a rock. There has to be a way but this one will take something special. LOL I may go through 15 hamburgers and a case of DrPepper to eradicate this one. I must get it done before Saturday because TCU will be playing. LOL I will check back in here pre game. |

I would take a picture of that stump and post it but it might give away the man cave location. It is an attractive stump with suttle shades of gray and brown with a background of dead grass. LMAOFF!

You must dig it out and cut the roots.. The only thing to fear is fear itself and "petrified" "wood" I would suggest that before you start digging to gather up a bunch of "Ho's" And tell them your "root" ain't dead yet and let them go for it. Once it "goes down". Don't think about how you are going to slice it.. think about how many tables you can makes from it. Which ironically can be a way of solving Texas political problems.. Gather up a bunch of Ho's...Did deep and cut out the roots. You can rent a bull dozer....but then again, you have been dozing on the bull for a long time. Also no reason to do it alone......form a new Politcal Party group......call it the "Tree Party" LOL Party on.!

That Oak stump is a treasure for those who do wood turning......If you advertise, you may get some interest in helping you with your project....good luck.

My Mom had that same problem once upon a time. Roots were so deep that cutting it out wasn't going to solve the problem. They ended up burning it out to remove the stump just below the surface. That actually took a few days. Not advisable with dry grass, but you could wait for a good rain and a day without high winds. There is always a solution.

If can't find any Ho's.. I got a great dig deep '"come on" line.. maybe you should advetrise on Farmer's.com I got the "wood" if you got the time! think of all the "dolls" you could "make" from your "wood".. That is if it's really a mighty oak.. and not just ball-sa wood. Be careful and hope it's not a weeping widow. Tell them you use to be a frog.. but turned into a prince.. But now want to turn back into a frog. tell them you use to believe if you can't lick em.... join em.. but now that you can't join em.. You lick em tell them you are tired of riding your Caterpillar alone.. and would rather someone eat it than ride it.
