I never heard of that song or singer, must check him out on You Tube. We share the same surname, Fortune was my maiden name.

Maudie I never heard of him but in thinking of lyrics I heard years ago I remembered how he stressed the title as he sang. The arrangement is very moving for me. Mesmerizing My dad was a musician. Songs and instrumental sounds seem to stick into my little brain. LOL Enjoy your day.

The first thing that came to mind about this song was Little House On The Prairie. Almanzo was learning to play the song for Laura, and she thought he was playing it for his ex gf ! LOL
