Sorry, I guess I missed that blog..... but you wouldn't believe all the crap we have been through in July! Sure hoping August is a lot better.

Just keep posting all the fun and interesting things that aren't political. Many skip the political ones anyway.

No, you didn't miss it because I didn't post it...... well, I posted a little bit of it, but it kept getting worse as the month went along. Sometimes, I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Not looking for sympathy so I didn't post more, but maybe sometime I'll do it to just vent. Sometimes, that helps.

Well I for one don't read the political gambit blogs on here. I hear enough on TV and I try to avoid on there as well except we are infiltrated with American news up here and we hear about every little morsel that takes place in the USA.

I really enjoyed your blog about the sayings of parents...it brought back loads of memories of childhood for me. We need lot's more like that.

As for the political blogs...I find them totally boring. They consist of nothing but the same few people saying the same old stuff every single day and expecting everyone else to agree with them, when they know very well that won't happen.
They don't want discussion or reasoning...those who disagree are always showered with insult and hatred...that's the real intention of course.

My post went somewhere. Or maybe it's me.
Here is again,I try to remember what I wrote, hope it will work. .
ET I do always appreciate your wise comments. Internet goes like that with it's crazy allover, and today it's at it's worst, not only here. The impulses reflect and resonate with the violence out there. Yes, very very scary.
My question is that, here, in a seniors space, what are we leaving as a legacy to our descendants?

All we hear about over here is politics and people are so fed up many just didn't vote in the last elections. I, for one have reached the point of saturation and turn off the sound during the news when the politicians appear. It's very simple, really.

ET, that's awesome, what I mean by that is becoming conscious about the fears we experience. I believe such small places like blogs with only a few people who express their instincts-where else in real life they are allowed to do that- is the condensed microcosm of what's out there-. I follow the news since some time, and feel exactly the same. But we still can stop a bit, well at least it's my wish, and begin to think what we are doing, acting out on....I think ancients have lived a different life from what's going on today, yet they-we have created it in a way or another. This place is important for that. I'm sure a sociologist would appreciate it. Well...I try to find ways that all we can be a bit at peace and learn how to talk to each others just a bit differently....hopefully to stop the violence. And I stop here, because it's too long hehe.
