Carnations are mrsdinty's favorite flower. I try to get them for her at least (at least) once a month. She also uses the same method to keep them fresh as you do ET. She really likes the mini ones with "baby breath" It is now hard to find "just because" and Love cards to go with them.

Great flowers Earthy. I have a carnation plant outside and it was full of blooms earlier in the summer. It has another one on it now but think it is finished for the summer now. They were a beautiful pink color. At night the fragrance was a very nice spicy smell. I thoroughly enjoyed this plant.
