Of course ET, thinking gets most of us in trouble. On the other foot your title reminded of my mother. Back in the good old days it was always fish for supper on Fridays. Mom, thinking she was a comedian, would always, and I mean always say "Just for the Halibut fish tonight". Thanks ET.

I was delighted by your title........I spent my teen years in a small Northern West Coast city.......Back in the day when Halibut were huge......I worked in the fishing industry weekends and holidays all through High School.......I mastered filleting early....it was the best paying job for women doing casual work.......At that level, you get paid by your output rather than by the hour......I took pride in my skill and speed.......I remember a Halibut coming into the plant that was so big that when it was hoisted high enough for it;s head to clear the floor, I had to use a step-ladder to get high enough to start cutting the fillet.. There was asign on the highway coming into town that said Welcome to Prince Rupert-Halibut Capital of the World........LOL.....I thought it was the only place in the world where people used the phrase "just for the Halibut.......

Hey Sparkles i didn't realize you were from British Columbia. I am in Vancouver so we are almost neighbors. I think Earthy was thinking about something else other than the fish halibut.

Couldn't agree more ~ there are gold diggers/social climbers aplenty; some things never seem to change

My..my....I don't think we were talking about the Canadian leader Maisie. I don't consider Mr. Trudeau eye candy in any event. Trump gets talked about across the border a lot in the negative sense. No one in my circles would cross the street to see Don the Man!
