I'm looking forward to next time you feel inspired to unload........LOL....though recipes and weather reports are OK too.......I had too much intense adventure yesterday, so I spent all day today in my jammies cleaning house and doing some creative sewing while trying to work out an ethical/social dilemma......running possible scenarios over and over in my head........remembering what Mrs. Joe said about caring less and less about what people think of her as she ages......that is true for me too.....I decided to skip a a very uncomfortable social obligation that I would have felt I had to attend even a year ago..........when your old, saying "I didn't feel up to it" is an acceptable excuse........

ET please abstain from "normalcy", it is unbefitting at our age. Where's the fun in it?

Simple explanation, the site is possessed by crazy gremlins running amok.

Normal? Just what is normal? I don't think I have ever been accused of being normal, and I suspect you haven't either!
Back in the years I worked and raised a family, and life got so hectic, I would yearn for a more normal life..... like I thought others had. Now, I wonder if there was such a thing, and what it would have been.
I still wonder. Just when I think perhaps I have it, poof..... something happens and everything is all screwed up again.

It's noon here, and I'm still in my jams, and may stay that way until we have to go to town later.
I was amused and pleased that something I say came to your mind....... I often wonder if others sometimes think about things that are said by members here. I know some things during my day occasionally trigger thoughts of other bloggers, but I didn't know if I was alone in that or not.
And it is true that the older I get, the less I care what others think of me, and things I used to consider must-do social obligations are more easily turned down.
It's time to do what we WANT to do, not what we feel we must do to please others.

Yes, I also have my lazy days but thankfully as the weather improves (as it is now), they are far & few between... but I can relate!!

Speaking of high gas prices, I do wish we had yours.... yesterday I filled up at $1.30 a liter/litre (1 liter = .26 gal) so figure it out. WOW

WOW $2.62 a gallon? OK here it is: 1 liter (or litre) taken to the nearest decimal is 0.3 of a gallon. So if one liter is $1.30.....4 liters would be 1.1 Gallon ($1.30 x 4)!

Salsa it was $1.50 per liter last week. Thank goodness I don't have to fill up very often. I would be riding local transit If I needed to drive a lot.

Running around in my nightie half the day is a regular occurrence for me. Unless I have an appointment somewhere my time for getting out is between 2 and 3 PM. I do better late in the afternoon. If I have to get up earlier in the morning I find it extremely difficult

Yes, I saw that on the news, wow! But no doubt ours will be rising soon and I'm not looking forward to the redundant 'carbon tax'! OMG
