Nino Gambino's cute, and you're right, she's in great condition! I wasn't particularly interested in dolls but one Christmas I specifically asked for a black doll which Santa happily delivered.

What a precious keepsake. I had some dolls when I was little, but my most treasured one was a Betty Bride doll, and my mother told me she would be my last doll. I treasured her and when my little half sister came along, I tried to keep my bride doll away from her little hands. My bedroom had floor to ceiling cabinets and I had her hidden away in the top cabinet, but one day my sister climbed up and pulled her out and onto the floor. Her dress got dirty and torn. I was devastated and my step dad just yelled at me to shut up because it was my fault for not keeping her put up. My mother knew the truth, but kept her mouth shut out of fear. I just threw the doll into the toy box and never treasured anything like that again. A few years ago, my sister gave me a bride doll. I have it in a closet. Guess I should get it out and put it on display, but I would want it covered to protect it. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

She is so cute and cuddly. Love her little outfit. Do you have different sets of clothes for her?

Ahh... the baby girl is beautiful! And Nino Bambino is so cute... I'd have loved her too. She's the kind of doll I liked the most. Thank you very much for this blog.
