I don't support any of these reforms. I would support reform that prohibits congress from fund raising inside the district at all times, including using the phone bank now established and used by many members.

I am for the reforms. The same self-service mentality is common practice in other countries, i.e. Germany.........

This immediately struck a red flag in my head. It is absoilute nonsense (not that that would concern tRump or his supporters) and is completely unenforceable. It is also the COMPLETE antithesis of anything tRump would consider, all but the reneging on a contract bt.
I did a quick fact check and it is completely bogus.

Quoting USAtoday Fact Check

"The origins of the viral post were tracked by claim-debunkers such as Factcheck.org, Snopes, and TruthorFiction.com. It appeared online as early as 2009, according to PolitiFact. The political fact-check site reported last fall that the post was flagged as part of Facebook's policy against misinformation.

An earlier version of the post from 2011, termed the "Congressional Reform Act of 2011," did not mention the president at all. And a version from 2009 attributed the list of proposed changes to businessman Warren Buffett, Snopes reported.

USA TODAY confirmed a post with nearly identical content was retitled "Congressional Reform Act of 2019" and shared on Facebook in February and March of last year. The recipient is asked to forward the post to at least 20 others to reach "most people" in the country within three days."

There are many issues to consider before jumping to this conclusion.

first and foremost is the good of the country,

The evidence of the abuse is bogus.
The abuse is not in the retirement and healthcare.. In fact the retirement and healthcare is to prevent the abuse. if what you would believe is true about the self serving nature of Congress. then without the retirement and healthcare.. The justification for abuse would be far greater while in office..
The amount of money a Congressman makes.. and the ability and wherewithall to become a congressmen .. and the resulting PAY for being a congressmen doesn't add up.. In a country where excellence is rewarded financially.. that is not the case in Congress. Almost all, s would do better in the public sector.

There is certainly a group of congressmen that don't deserve it. They don't deserve it because they don't do their job. their pay shouldn't be reduced they should be FIRED.

If congressmen were to put it on the line, and do the job they were sent to do.. You wouldn't be having this discussion.. In real terms they would all be underpaid.

More importantly we have had presidents.. who are technically underpaid...
Let me point out.. That current President has not accepted any Pay.
Yet in real terms is not only overpaid.. but probably the highest earning president this country's ever had. If you paid him what he is actually earning from being president..You would kick him out of office. In real terms about salary and benefits.. you are talking small potatoes.
