Whenever I thought about Ruth it just made me upset that American women, and really women in the world, have had to struggle so much for recognition, equality and simple respect. These are all things I simply demand for my own daughter and when I see anything at all that feels like it infringes upon her shot in life I get so mad at men and society that enable the injustice of it all. Ruth's fight must go on and American women will struggle anew from this devastating loss. All of us in America are now in serious trouble and this just adds to the wounds.
