Remember back when the news was just the news, and we hardly knew what the broadcaster thought about it? It was reported, and we formed our own opinions. Now it seems we hear opinions and we have to try to figure out what the news really is.

Alfie watches the evening news shows . I might be in the same room but reading or something. More than likely I couldn't tell you what was the news. He will tell me if it is something important.

Ha ha....laughing at you Earthy! I don't actually mind the bromance of Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo. It adds a certain lightness to all the ugliness of the news out there. I guess we will find out tonight what Don Lemon is going to be doing. I don't watch CNN all the time. If I am up late I watch Kim Brunhumer at 1:00 AM. He is a Canadian guy who used to work for CBC out of Los Angeles for years and then he was hired by CNN in Atlanta a year ago. I like his way of presenting the news.

ET, I cut the cord on television in the 80s and I never looked back. Cable television is ok .. but not worth paying for in my estimation.

As of now it's more than that ... it's political. I refuse to have a dime of my money trickle down to the thieves on the right like Fox News, the Trump family, the Limbaugh family, Sean (Tokyo Rose) Hannity etc. etc. etc.

Newsmax looks to be the new Trump family fraud on Americans, and as they say ... a fool and his money are soon parted.

The PBS Newshour is a good news source ... I don't like to be shouted at LOL. They are respected by both political parties ... and both sides of the aisle are invited to speak on controversial issues. PBS Newshour reminds me of the old days of the "Fairness Doctrine" .

I get around 30 local stations with antenna but have no access to CNN or Fox News. I go to Fox News website and AM talk radio occasionally when I'm in the mood for some Republican style whining, crying, sucking and blowing ... LOL.

With the big three, CBS ABC and NBC you get news shouted at you by drama-mommas like Lester Holt and Nora O'Donnell. And it's 5 minutes of news for every 5 minutes of prescription drug adds ... want to be normal, try some of our new dope.

PBS Newshour is a breath of fresh air ...

Irs msnbc for me...i will not listen to the Fox fascist network and Cuomo annoys me. I'm not a fan of joy Reid and I miss Chris Mathews. The print media is where the action is.

As a supporter, I am a big fan of Faux News. Where else can I listen to what my president the Orange Turd is doing?
