Habitat for Humanity, Women Build and The Monticello Trail

When I got divorced in 2002, all I wanted to do is find a Cave to crawl around in. Eventually I found a caving buddy and did just that. He would have me climb on these high ledges just to look at some pretty fossils.

I've always found healing energy in Nature. There was the Greenbrier River Trail and Many other Trails in the Greenbrier State Forest. I left all of it and moved to TEXAS for LOVE. That Love went South so I went WEST. Texas may be a good place for ex's but it's not my Medicine Wheel. Neither is Bum FiretrUCK, Nevada.

So I ended up in Blue Ridge Country, Virginia for the Second Love Connection. That Love had bitten the dust.

I am Libra and Libra doesn't deal with break-ups with a whole lot of dignity and grace.

The difference is that I LOVE Blue Ridge Country. This is a place with healing energy. There is nature but there also History.

For Whatever reason, Monticello is my favorite hang out. The Monticello Trail is citified by Star Standards but breath taking-ly beautiful. All of the Founding Fathers have walked these grounds. It's just awesome. It feels so much like home if only I really had a home.

So, I will help build homes for others who need homes. Women Build is an All Female Construction Crew for Habitat for Humanity. It just feels so empowering to be building something and make life better for somebody else. I love the idea of building a dream for somebody else.

The funny thing is that Mr. Joe is gone. He's with the Bimbo but I love the way my life is emerging. There IS life after Mr. Joe. So I am going to build houses, great big house and that is a healing experience.
