Foto Friday the 13th - Funerals and Prayer Ties

The Little Lady that I have been caring for died Sunday Morning peacefully in her Home. Her and I spent four days caring for her and I still made it to work on time at Sam's Club on Sunday Morning. Thank God for the Hospice Nurse who came in for a Shift and showed me what to do before her and Partner arrived.

I woke up about 5:30 am. Her had been up with her all night. The said that she needed to sleep and to wake her up before I went to work. I heard the oxygen alarm go off at 6:45 AM. I went to check on the lady and she had crossed over.

I called Hospice on my cell phone and told them that she appeared to be dead.

I feel like I've been in a daze all week.

Nevertheless, I feel honored that I was able to help my little lady spend the last year of her life in comfort. I also feel honored that I was part of the support network to help her ease into the Spirit World in her own home in Dignity. I was also able to help her and be at ease knowing that their Mom was being cared for. The woman was a Kindred Spirit so I understood where she was coming from Spiritually.

Her Funeral was Friday the 13th. I converted the tobacco in her cigarettes into Prayer Ties which we utilized during the Service,

(((Hugsss)))

What an honour it must have been to help this dear lady pass!

Shokwaya'ti:shon (Creator) will meet her as she walks the red path to the Spirit World I'm sure.

Be thankful you will know you helped the family in more ways than just caring for her. This was very interesting!
