Fote Friday - Sargent Dad

Most of my pictures including the ones of my Dad were lost in a move. Life on Life's Terms.

My Siblings and I used to salute and stand at ease for "Sargent Dad." He was a big man with a bald head who smoked lots of cigars.

When my Mother died, she was cremated and her remains buried in Arkansas because we couldn't afford to transport her and ourselves to California where our Dad is buried.

My boys who were in California picked up some dirt from Dad's Grave. They took the plane to West Virginia after getting stuck in Chicago overnight.

We drove to Arkansas and used the dirt from my Dad's Grave in my Mom's Ceremony.

Some of the Marching Tunes - He taught us!

You're in the Army Now. You've not behind the Plow. You're Digging a Ditch. You of a Beetch! You're in the Army Now.

1964! My Mother Went to War! SHe opened the Door and peed on the floor and That was the end of the war.

Ommp Pah omp Pah Omp Pah Pah!
