Java - Star Versus the Obnoxious WallyWorld Customer!!!!

Wal-Mart requires that I be courteous to customers no matter how rude they are. Most of the time when a customer is rude, it is the customer's issue. It is the customer's attempt to exert what they perceive as a superior status. It's a pipe dream that will never happen except in the customer's mind.

Most of the time I laugh at their stupid azzzzzzes which is what they make themselves look like in front of the other customers.

I was at the Local Java Shop with my Latte and Horary Astrology
Charts. Lo and Behold - the obnoxious Customer is in the Java Shop. My mind's eye quicky blocks him out with a big "X" and place him in the IGGY BOX. This is MY time and My Space.
He approaches me to discuss our encounter in the store. Big Mistake. Hey!!! Mr. Rude Man. I am not on the Clock, I don't have to be nice to you. I am not going to call you a spirochete, nor am I going to suggest that you pound sand up an intricate part of your Anatomy. I am not going to even tell you to seek self administered sensual gratification.

Mr. Annoying Man - If you want to buy me an Expresso, I'll do a tarot reading for you - otherwise

Hasta La Vista Darlin!!!!!!

He walks away mumbling to himself.

You Sure know a lot a BIG WORDS for a Wal-Mart Cashier!!!!

One of Wrong Turn, West Virginia's Finest. Woo Hoo!

Star, I feel you. It seems people are eternally angry these days. I try to only go to Walmart once a month, and late at night because there are less people, less drama. I do this because it started to seem to me that Walmart attracts the strangest folk. An example: I was patiently standing behind a woman who was blocking the aisle, talking to herself. I must have stood there a couple of minutes not saying anything because I was not in a hurry. She happened to look around, startled, started cursing up a storm at me. I simply stood there, not even looking surprised at her outburst because I had heard her talking to herself for a couple of minutes before. When she was spent, she scurried off, still cursing to herself. After seeing several similar incidents over several months, I thought it's easier to shop when these people are in bed. I even renew my Rx on-line and they text me when to pick them up. I avoid drama whenever I can.

The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page: St. Augustine

I admire anyone who has to deal with the public these days. I remember doing a stint as an office manager of the smaller social services offices. Worst job of my life. I never quite knew if I was a baby sitter (staff issues) or referee / bouncer (client issues).
